Fletcher, North Carolina, September 5, 2019 – Capstone Health Alliance is proud to announce Consolidated Supply Chain Services (CSCS) is the newest acute care member to join the alliance. A management services organization, CSCS manages the purchasing services for Heritage Valley Health System, Washington Health System, and their affiliates.
A $535 million network, Heritage Valley Health System provides comprehensive care for residents of Allegheny, Beaver, Butler and Lawrence counties in Pennsylvania, eastern Pennsylvania, and the panhandle of West Virginia. Washington Health System services more than 40 off-site locations, as well as their flagship 260 licensed bed hospital in Washington, PA and Washington Health System Greene, a community centered 49 licensed bed hospital in Waynesburg, PA.
Of the new partnership, Doug Roncone, CEO of Consolidated Supply Chain Services said “All healthcare systems understand the importance of reducing supply costs for organizational success. In addition, most systems are asked to achieve these efficiencies with limited staff. It is comforting to know that our partnership with Capstone creates an extension of our supply chain team, identifying savings opportunities and providing service to our facilities that ensure maximum value and benefit. We look forward to working closely with the team and improving the overall success of our organization moving forward.”
“Consolidated Supply Chain Services is a champion for their healthcare facilities, and we couldn’t be more pleased to support their efforts to bring quality care to their communities and industry leading pricing to their facilities. We are honored that their leadership has chosen Capstone as their partner and are confident that their involvement in the Capstone program will strengthen their efforts” says Jackie Dula, Chief Customer Officer of Capstone Health Alliance.
