Emergency Trauma (Level II.) Opened in 1924, it is among the top ten largest employers in the state of West Virginia with 2600+ employees. St. Mary’s also has a stand-alone ER and medical campus in Ironton, Ohio. The St. Mary’s School of Nursing is the longest serving school of nursing
in West Virginia with thousands of graduates working in hospitals across the tri-state region of West Virginia, Ohio and Kentucky.
