Capstone Health Alliance announces new member – Valley Health

Asheville, North Carolina, September 29, 2014 – Capstone Health Alliance proudly announced Valley Health System has joined the Capstone membership. Headquartered in Winchester, Virginia, Valley Health is comprised of six acute care facilities in Virginia and West Virginia. The system has a combined total of 594 licensed inpatient beds and 166 long-term care beds.

“We are pleased to join Capstone’s other health system and hospital members to cut costs, share best practices and improve the quality of care,” said Valley Health President & CEO Mark H. The addition of Valley Health brings Capstone’s acute care membership to 48 Health Systems representing 123 Hospitals.
